Our client, an international market leading industrial business with operations around the world is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst. Responsible for supporting Global Final Control Hyperion Database applications, including development, maintenance, administration, and user support; along with providing Database SmartView templates needed for management reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc system submission requirements.


SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work within Finance Staff in the Global business to develop and maintain Database Applications including: masterdata, forms, calc scripts, load rules, security and SmartView input templates and adhoc reporting.
* Provide Production Support functions, including analysis and issue resolution, solution recommendations, and data reconciliations
* Support Database user access and security requirements.
* Perform regular HFM to Database data loads, as well as Database to HFM loads, improving the process where possible.
* Provide data support & reports to assist finance leaders in quarterly forecasting and annual budget processes
* Assist in developing appropriate financial business intelligence solutions & reports from the systems
* Support month-end reporting as required
* Support additional systems initiatives and requests within the Final Control organization

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Strong PC skills including MS Office Suite, HFM, Hyperion Database (Essbase), SharePoint. Preferably with Oracle and/or SAP experience.
* Experience of working in a Finance or an Accounting function is of advantage
* Working knowledge of multidimensional and relational concepts, analysis, data modeling and designing applications
* Experience leading and participating in system/process improvement projects.
* Critical strength is being able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, across cultures globally
* Proven track record problem solving, research skills and the ability to analyze independently and through a series of potential solutions.
* High energy, self-motivated, team player, self-confidence and quick learner
* Flexibility with changing priorities
* Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
* Willingness to travel (approximately 5%) internationally
* Part time working (at least 3 days per week) will be considered for this role
