This client is a global engineering and development consultancy driven to make a sustainable difference to the world we live in. My client assists with the entire development process, from planning all the way through to design and management. This company employs over 16,000 people from across the globe and are looking for an Experienced Ecologist with a bat license to join their Cardiff office.
Requirements
* At degree in Ecology, Zoology or a related environmental discipline
* Bat license
* Full/Associate CIEEM membership
* At least 5 years' post-graduate experience within an environmental or ecological consultancy
* Experience in protected species surveying
* Extended Phase 1 habitat survey skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Full UK driving license
Responsibilities
* Carrying out field work e.g. surveying environmental conditions, plant and, animals
* Design and deliver Bat specific surveys for a variety of projects
* managing wildlife conservation
* report writing
* liaising with clients, office and sub consultants
* knowledge of new environmental policies and legislation
* analysing and interpreting data, using specialist software programs
