Catering Assistant- Hospitality -Monday- Friday 7am-3pm
Location- Welwyn Garden City
Pay rate- £8 per hour
Servest are recruiting for an experienced Catering Assistant to work within an onsite restaurant at an prestigious Head Office building based in Welwyn garden city. As a catering assistant you will have exposure to all areas of the restaurant including serving hospitality to senior managers. We are looking for someone who is used to working in a team, covering all areas front and back of house and that can communicate effectively with the customers and onsite client.
Day to day duties will include:
Serving Hospitality to Senior managers and board members
Serving customers in the restaurant - counter service
Working on a Grab and Go/ Deli bar putting together salad boxes, sandwiches and other hot food items
Assisting the Chef Manager with basic food preparation
Cash handling, till work and cashing up
General cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant areas
To be considered for this role you must have a background of working in a commercial kitchen environment as a Catering/ General Assistant or similar. Ideally you will hold your basic food hygiene certificate.
Due to the nature of the role you will be in direct contact with the customers and onsite client- we are looking for a high standard of customer service, someone with the ability to work to tight deadlines , be pro-active and happy to work in a fast paced environment. This is a small team so you need to be hands on and happy to support where needed.
Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 7:00 - 15:00- 40 hours per week (some flexibility will be needed with hours)
