One Stop have an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Centre Operations Manager to join their team based in Brownhills, West Midlands.
Job Title: Distribution Centre Operations Manager
Location: Brownhills, WS8 7HU
Salary: £33,000 per annum + benefits
Owned by Tesco Plc, but operated as a separate business, One Stop Stores are an ambitious organisation, with growth plans over the next 5 years that will see us opening new stores across the country. We have three Distribution Centres based in Wakefield, Nursling and Brownhills and are looking for Team Managers to join our distribution teams.
We have a great opportunity as a DC Operations Manager at Brownhills, we will be looking for the successful person to be IOSH & CPC qualified, review and monitor all KPI’s and capability plans. We are looking for someone to support the DC in achieving excellence in all areas.
Distribution Centre Operations Manager - About the role:
- Review DC KPI performance and ensure robust action plans are in to place to address under performance
- Review DC capability plans to ensure that sufficient resource is in place always
- Manage, monitor and review DC Health & Safety performance ensuring that all the team actively contribute
- Review DC monthly KPI’s and put in place action plans for any underperforming areas
- Site security systems and processes to ensure 100% compliance
- Manage sites stock, shrink and QC checking and all count targets and KPI’s are achieved
- Leading staff development requirements in all areas
- Actively support Transport daily operations and provide management guidance
Distribution Centre Operations Manager - About you:
- IOSH Qualified
- Health & Safety compliant
- Warehouse operations compliant
- Experienced in Warehouse Management Systems (desirable)
- Computer literate including Microsoft Word & Excel
