The Motor Group is a multi-franchise motor dealer group based in the North East of England. A family owned company having had its roots in the region for over 100 years, it now operates out of 6 locations in the Tyne Tees area. We are re-establishing ourselves in Sunderland with a new KIA and Mazda dealership, which will open soon.
We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join the team at our new KIA and Mazda dealership in Sunderland.
As the main point of contact between customers requiring servicing or repairs to their vehicle and our Workshops, this role requires you to provide a prompt advisory and booking service to customers both over the phone and face to face. You will preferably have experience of working within the motor trade or have a strong personal interest in vehicle repairs, as this role requires you to be able to advise customers on minor technical issues associated with their vehicle.
More importantly, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate first class customer care and communication skills as you will be required to liaise extensively with the Workshop in relation to work in progress, ensuring that the customer is kept informed and fully understands what work needs to be carried out and why.
In addition to this you will need to be well organised, have excellent IT skills and ideally possess a full UK driving licence.
The role is full time and permanent working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary meets the National Minimum Wage rates. Other benefits include a company pension, company discounts and free life assurance.
