Support Worker

Welcome to our Ashbourne service
You’ll be joining the team in our Ashbourne service. The team supports people in the community and their own homes. The people in the service are very keen to get out and make the most of life
Make it happen - your role
You’ll have a responsible role that’s really varied, sometimes challenging and often lots of fun. The job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support - so they can live as independently as possible, make their own choices and do the things they enjoy. Here are just some of the activities you could soon be supporting.
Cooking, cleaning and washing – Paying bills - Taking medicines - Going shopping -Swimming - Keep fit/Aerobics Bowling - Nightclubbing - Day trips – Going to Work -Volunteering – Horse Riding – Playing Computer Games – Pottery and Crafts – Socialising with Friends – Visiting Hairdressers/Dentists/Doctors
If you have interests or hobbies of your own, we’d love you to share them with us.
