In Years 10 & 11 students are prepared for the Edexcel Linear GCSE with intervention sessions available for those students requiring additional support. Mathematics students are encouraged to develop their understanding through a wide variety of experiences. The department has its own ICT facilities, including interactive whiteboards and 31 laptops.

You will be able to teach up to KS5 and have demonstrated experience to support this.

This position is to start as soon as possible on a full time long term contract; this is until May half term in the first instance but will likely continue until the end of the academic year.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa and overseas police check)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS
