Our client is one of the largest and oldest independent Builders Merchants in East Anglia. With thirteen diverse sites throughout Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, they are able to meet the needs of the professional builder and decorator, and those of their private customers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Counter Sales Assistant / Driver to join them at their brand new branch in Ipswich.

They are looking for someone who is customer focused with a flexible attitude, who can work on both the sales counter and deliver goods to their customers when required.

To be successful, candidates must have excellent merchandising skills, a high level of personal presentation and be comfortable dealing with customers and closing sales. A genuine interest in developing your product knowledge is also essential.

Knowledge or experience of the painting and decorating / DIY sector is highly desirable but not essential.
