Pre Construction Manager 
Portsmouth 
Salary up to £60,000 + Car /Allowance + 25 days Holiday + Pension 
 
There is an incredible opportunity for a Pre Construction Manager join a respected and highly thought of regional contractor based near Portsmouth. 
This leading contractor will consider Pre Construction Managers relocating from anywhere in the UK. Relocating to the beautiful south has never been more appealing, the climate and temperature being the best anywhere in the UK. Portsmouth is a vibrant and exciting city with a fantastic historic dockyard, charming beaches and great schools making this a wonderful place to live and bring up a family. 
 

The Role 
To manage the tender process and drive the bid team to achieve the required tender deadlines. 
To produce a commercial and attractive offer to their Client, which has been properly considered. 
Ensuring all risk has been identified, qualified or excluded. Where residual risk does occur, this has been properly considered and necessary mitigation put in place to manage it. 
 
Education, Qualifications and Training 
Educated to GCSE standard in English and Mathematics 
Higher Education Qualification such as NVQ, BTEC, HNC, BSc, IEng (Desirable but not Essential) 
Professional Qualification such as MCIOB, MRICS, ICE (Desirable but not Essential) 
CSCS Registered 
People management and the supervision of teams 
Good organisation and time management 
Good written and verbal communication 
Able to work flexibly and independently when required 
Hold a current drivers licence.

You will have:

At least 5 years construction industry experience

Knowledge of contract

Ideally from a construction, design or estimating background

Knowledge of construction planning
