I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager for a full service, fresh food restaurant and bar in the beautiful, South East London suburb of Blackheath.

Knowledge of the Blackheath area is desirable, as well as someone with a strong character who isn’t afraid to make this business their own and support the General Manager to ensure that it reaches its full potential. The ideal Assistant Manager will have experience of, and be able to develop relationships with the local community, have bags of ideas and want to put this restaurant on the map in the area; appealing to all types of customer.

You will get stuck in, rolls your sleeves up and manage all aspects of the restaurant alongside the General Manager; leading from the front and influencing your team with your infectious personality on a daily basis. Customer service is at the forefront of everything, and this has to be something that you can drive and influence day in, day out.

This business is far from corporate and allows its Assistant Manager a lot of autonomy in running the business. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has experience of being creative and driving a business as if it was their own. If you are a strong Assistant Manager who wants to demonstrate your skills then this could be the role for you.

As the Assistant Manager, you will be earning an annual salary of £26,000, as well as the opportunity to be involved in a wider business where you will have real opportunities to progress based on your hard work.
