JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Operations Manager that is extremely organised with excellent time-management and ‘back office’ administration skills.
The Company is looking for an Operations Manager to join their growing business. Above all they’re looking for someone with the right attitude and personality as well as having particular skills and competencies.
Working as the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for all activities and resources associated with the jewellery repair and manufacture services they offer. They need someone with a blend of qualities: being systematic and able to deal with stressful situations in a pragmatic manner whilst being able to demonstrate charm and empathy when dealing with customers.
As the Operations Manager, you must be process driven and have the confidence to insist that high quality standards are upheld throughout the work flow chain. This role will suit someone that is as good with people as they are with technical challenges.
YOUR ROLE
The majority of your time will be spent ‘back office’ processing and coordinating the flow of work throughout the manufacture process and managing the resources required for delivery. This is a role with a huge amount of responsibility for producing work on time, on budget, in line with the brief and the Company’s high quality standards in terms of product quality and customer service.
A small percentage of your time will be spent on the shop floor conducting repairs and sales consultations; this will enable you to develop an understanding of the whole process and to connect with the customers. You’ll develop a high level of jewellery knowledge (which the Company can teach you) and build great relationships with their customers (which they except to come naturally to you).
