On the behalf of a Outstanding secondary School located in Wakefield, we are seeking to recruit a inclusion support worker to work within their inclusion team. They are seeking for experienced teaching assistants that can improve attainment and engagement across the team.

The Inclusion Support Worker will supervise children in a child care setting and provide support for individual/small groups of children with specific developmental needs and/or challenging behaviour. This may include children with special needs or disabilities, health related conditions or learning difficulties.

The ideal canddiate will need to:

-To support the School in enabling all students to access the curriculum.
-To participate in the creation, delivery, and assessment of students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff and the Special Education Coordinator (SENCO).
-To coordinate and participate in the delivery of activities and programmes that support students' social/emotional/behavioural development.
-To maintain regular contact with families/carers of children in need of extra support, keeping them informed of students' progress and working to build positive relationships.
-To liaise with relevant professionals, agencies and organisations inside and outside of the school in order to support students.
-To compile lesson materials and adapt schemes of work/lessons for individual students with assistance from teaching staff.
- To participate in assessing and monitoring students' learning needs and health/well-being.
