Customer Services Representative (Central Reservations) – Full Time

Salary - £17,550 per annum

Established over 35 years ago, U-Drive is a family run organisation.   With 15 branches and a fleet of over 1700 vehicles, U-Drive is considered the largest wholly independent vehicle rental company in the Southwest.

We are currently looking to recruit a positive and friendly individual with a ‘can do’ attitude. Reporting into the Reservations Manager you will be required to maximise vehicle hire sales, by converting customer enquiries into reservations by:

• To work with the team to answer all sales calls.
• Answering customer enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner while demonstrating a professional and competent approach.
• Up selling or down selling to ensure that maximum utilisation is achieved for each vehicle group.
• Able to work to accurately and to deadlines.
• Provide accurate and timely information to a team of Business Development Managers when identifying sales leads

You will be working 45 hours per week on a rota basis (will include some Saturday and Sunday working) on a salary of £17,550 per annum

The ideal applicant would:

• Be skilled at using Microsoft suite of business applications and using multiple IT programmes simultaneously
• Able to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively via the telephone ensuring appropriate levels of customer service and care
• Be able to retain a multitude of product and process knowledge which is paramount to providing a first class service to our customers.
• Be calm and consistent with the ability to work in a fast paced and changeable environment
• Have an eye for detail and Be able to work to deadlines whilst working under pressure
• Be a team player
• Be honest and trustworthy
• Ability to build rapport and relationship with clients
• Good numerical skills
