IT Support Engineer
About the Role
You are a key member in the Refresco Beverages UK IT team and you will provide effective first line IT support to all employees across all areas of the business and provide backup and support to the Infrastructure Manager to whom this role reports.
You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office environment plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software.
The scope of the role is:
850 internal users varying from standard (e.g. ERP) to power users (e.g. senior technical officers); 6 sites; Over 100 varying software applications; 130 servers; 600+ PC's.
Your main duties are:
- To provide first line support and analyse and diagnose any IT related technical issue (software/hardware) and refer/escalate internally or externally as appropriate;
- To manage the first time resolution of hardware and software IT technical issues;
- To conduct planned and ad hoc maintenance as required on IT technical systems;
- To assist with user administration tasks highlighted in the IT service management process;
- To manage and deliver small to medium IT projects within project guidelines;
- To create and maintain knowledge based articles for all hardware and software to promote accurate information sharing within the IT team;
- To administer IT hardware/software change requests within the IT change management process to meet customer requirements (e.g. internal office move);
- To assist the Asset and Procurement coordinator with the management of IT software licences and procurement;
- To assist the Infrastructure Manager with the maintenance of IT security systems to ensure all systems are kept secure;
About You
Career minded? Looking to learn and progress in IT? Are you at the start of your IT career with at least 2 years experience in IT in a large organisation? You will need to have good experience and working knowledge with Microsoft MS products. Microsoft MS product training or qualifications are preferred. A great communicator you have a professional, can-do attitude to problem solving. You will need to be able to prioritize carefully and if necessary 'push - back' on issues that are not as high priority as others. You will need a full driving licence.

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this role is circa GBP25,000 per annum dependent on experience and achievements, plus a good annual bonus incentive and generous company pension scheme.
