IT Systems Engineer - Bristol - GBP35K

This is an exciting new role that reports to the Service Director and an superb opportunity for an ambitious person to grow within the Group.
Job Responsibilities
* Monitor global internal systems ensuring system stability & service level agreements (SLAs)
* Respond, process & action support tickets
* Deploy new systems as instructed.
* Get involved with security and compliance.
* Ensuring that the network runs smoothly and effectively
* Provide IT Support to users.
* AWS infrastructure support.
Key Skills
* Mac admin at server level
* Linux admin ideally Ubuntu
* Microsoft AD admin
* Network deployment
* VoIP telco
* Experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL. etc
* Be a logical problem solver
* Knowledge of backup software, ideally Netvault.
Desirable Skills
* Hyper-V
* Windows 2012
* Atlassian, Confluence, JIRA, Fisheye.
* AWS environments
* Software dev tools, i.e., Jenkins, Sonar, Git, Nexus, Fortify
* Nagios
* Cloud business applications
* Disaster recovery planning and design
* Meraki Cisco Networks
