The Technical Co-ordinator will assist customers and staff with technical queries and where necessary, liaise with the respective CST representative or supplier for the information.
You will develop, distribute and maintain technical support bulletins and publications to all within the distribution network and document to the supplier, product defects so that they have the fullest documented information which can be used within their company to improve the product. Assisting in developing and supporting aftermarket support services such as oil sample analysis, Vcads, MATRIS and other software issues, you will provide support to both the Immingham Machine Preparation Centre and Sales Support on the correct installation of local fit options and provide technical support to the Warranty department to assist with the claim process.
Self-motivated and creative, the successful candidate will be a qualified or time served engineer who has a technical engineering background, preferably with the products concerned. With excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, you will have a professional telephone manner and be people tolerant.
Persuasive and firm, giving you the ability to take the lead, you will have strong negotiation skills and a good customer understanding. With a keen interest and ‘hands-on’ approach in using computers, you will be process orientated and have a good understanding of construction equipment electronics and hydraulics.
