A pupil referral unit located in Oldham are seeking an experienced teaching assistant. The school have specified that the applicant must have in date Team-Teach training (can be provided). The school is very easy accessible via public transport from Oldham.
The school caters for students aged 11-16 that have been excluded from mainstream education, the students will need additional support due their social, emotional and mental health challenges. The pupils present and display challenging behaviour.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support students in day 2 day routines
- Assist and motivate students
- Behaviour management
- Work with teachers on implementing behaviour strategies
