Supply Chain Manager - £40,000 + - London
A growing FMCG company is looking for a driven, dynamic and personable Supply Chain Manager for their exciting business based in London. This is an all-encompassing role managing a team of planners with a responsibility for the end to end supply chain, with a focus on inbound supply and managing relationships with suppliers based in the Far East and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the end-to-end supply chain from planning and purchasing through to OTIF delivery.
* Leading and managing a team of planners.
* Selecting and implementing a new ERP system.
* Helping to set strategic direction for the growing supply chain network.
* Managing 3PL relationships.
* Setting the best practice in supply chain in the region.
* Liaising with suppliers based in Far East and Europe.
Key Skills:
* Degree Educated or equivalent
* A strong understanding of FMCG supply chain with at least 5 years+ FMCG supply chain experience
* Line management experience of direct teams and distributors
* Far East sourcing and relationship management experience
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* SAP experience highly desirable
* Customer focused - experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
