Senior Site Manager
Main Contractor based in North West Sussex
Project: Managing refurbishment and new build project to the value of 3Million
Salary: up to £45,000 - 55,000 + Car /Allowance, 25 Days Holiday
A highly regarded medium size main contractor is searching for a Site Manager to join the team.
The company is run and owned by Directors who are passionate about growing a successful and sustainable business at the same time focusing on first rate service clients and looking after their staff.
The have built up a reputation for delivering first rate refurbishment and new build projects across Surrey , West Sussex and Hampshire.
Due to growth within the business and new contract secured they have a exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager
The Role:
As Site Manager you will be self-motivated individual who is happy to work autonomously in your role, whilst being able to driving the subcontractors, manage contractors on site, general day to day issues whilst being able to drive a project to practical completion.
They have secured several new contracts ranging from £100k to £3Million, These projects range from Design & Build & JCT Form of contracts within the education & commercial sector. They require a Senior Site Manager with a strong background within extensive knowledge delivering similar projects from site set up through to final handover.
Candidate's responsibility
Supervise all direct labour and coordinate all activities
Ensure Operations are performed efficiently & effectively
Ability to document & ensure all company producers are adhered to
Able to set up site, plan & deliver projects to program & to budget
Ensure company procedures and protocols are understood and rigidly adhered to
Able Communicate with all clients on a regular basis (Lead client meeting)
Experience using programming software (Power Point/ Microsoft)
Key Attributes:
A minimum of 10 years experience of Site Management within the Main contracting / Commercial sector.
SMSTS, CSCS Card (gold or black), First Aid certified as well as a Scaffold Inspection certificate.
Experience working to detailed drawings and be technically proficient.
Must be resourceful and skilled, and be committed to all aspects of the project from start to finish.
You must be able to work independently and have good organisational and co-ordination skills
