Senior Engineer - Highways with CAD experience

Would you like to come and work with this consultancy's great and growing design team on a variety of diverse, interesting projects throughout the UK? They are a personable and professional consultancy based in Central Guildford. Their clients are both Private & Public sector and include: Persimmon Homes, MACE, MIRA (Motor Research Agency), GVA, Kier to name a couple. they offer excellent packages that are reviewed every few months, and include: Bonuses, Pension, Healthcare both prescription & hospital, good holiday allocation and Childcare and other vouchers. The position is walkable from Guildford mainline station. They have free car parking.

Essential
Working alongside their Design Manager you will have some of the following skills:
- 5-10 years designing highways in accordance with DMRB using Auto CAD, vehicle tracking etc
- Experience of technical approval process for highway schemes with authorities
(inc. Environment Agency and Utility Companies), Clients, Contractors, Quantity Surveyors, Solicitors and survey companies.
- Developing business relationships and helping develop client business
- Good people management and team work skills
- Fast learner and able to transfer skills to others
- Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines
- Driver's license

Advantageous
- Chartered engineer status
- Drainage design experience including flood risk assessment experience
- Wide range of Autodesk and MS product knowledge
- Demonstration of CPD skills
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations
- A working knowledge / experience of BIM and project management skills
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) accredited
- Safety Audit Qualifications
