Job Title:  Care Co-ordinator

Duration: Full time 9am-5pm Monday to Friday

Location: Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Salary: £20,000 per annum

Plus: Paid holiday, life insurance and workplace pension. Additional pay for care calls outside office hours.

Basis: Permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance in six month probationary period.

Overview- to assist the Branch Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the service ensuring positive outcomes for our clients. To maintain the quality of the service by complying with the company’s policies and procedures and by adhering to CQC care standards and requirements.

Main responsibilities: To prepare weekly rotas for clients in-line with client requirements and carer defined availability.  To carry out the administration of all matters generated by the weekly rota.

Set weekly staff rotas- managing the Malmesbury area business so that our clients are happy with the timings of their visits and staff are happy with their rotas.

Manage the clients- deal with all elements of day to day care and liaise with clients and their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of a quality care service.

Manage the Care Team- Build and support the Malmesbury care team and manage all elements of staff administration. Lead by example, as both care and office staff are expected to pitch in when required in covering care calls. To undertake on-call duties one week in every four.

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE or above

QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred

 

Experience

Using electronic rota systems

Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and databases

Working in a similar role or care environment

Knowledge

IT literate with knowledge of different types of software

Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008

Knowledge of CQC fundamental standards
