We are mandated by their global tier one client to support them in hiring a Senior IT Risk Manager to be based in central London. The position pays between £70,000 - £80,000 plus annual bonus, competitive pension scheme, car allowance plus extensive benefits.

The successful candidate must carry a braod technology risk skillset; you'll need to have a track record of delivery in IT risk evaluation, review of operational and strategic IT processes, project management and governance, IT application implementation and IT audit.

You'll also need to take pride in helping stakeholders identify, measure and manage their risk profile more effectively.

Your role will involve the following:

* Leading part of a team that performs services including IT effectiveness assessments, IT risk reviews, programme/project assurance, IT operational, security / cyber and data reviews.
* Leading project teams to deliver solutions including scoping, testing, and reporting against advisory standards.
* Enhancing controls and operational environments, including developing integrated risk and control frameworks and building remediation plans for key client issues.
* Exposure to current thinking in technology governance and risk management.
* Supporting the activities of an assigned industry group, including sharing experiences, raising the profile of risk services and supporting change initiatives.

* Experience of leading engagement teams and of developing junior members of staff to build a team.
* Strong project management, analytical skills and organisational abilities.
* Technically strong and numerate with a commercial focus on engagements.
* Ability to understand market challenges (including current and future trends) and lead the development of new service offerings in response to changes in demand (including sales materials and delivery toolsets).
* Ability to follow formal methodologies, apply risk and quality standards and ensure the team's compliance with these.
* Strong desire for personal continuous improvement.
* Excellent verbal skills and report writing capability.
* Self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as lead engagement teams without the need for day to day direct management.
* Proficient networker, relationship builder and team player.

Technical

* Experience in advising across a range of IT areas including IT strategy, IT governance, IT management processes, vendor and contract management, IT capability assessments, business systems strategy, selection and evaluation, IT support and operational processes and IT security.
* Experience in reviewing IT General Controls including Change Control, Access Rights and IT Operations
* Experience in delivering internal audit and advisory assignments.

Desirable skills:

* CISA, CISM, CISSP or CGEIT qualified.
* Certified in relevant areas such as ITIL, PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, and/or TOGAF.
* Knowledge of other ERP solutions.
