This company provides strategic health care solutions to horse owners and veterinary practises through their three service options; Intelligent Worming, ScientifEQ and Wormers Direct.

They are entering a dynamic growth and development period and are looking to recruit someone who will support existing business retention and help develop new growth.

The role is based in Carmarthen and requires a high level of concentration and focus. It is a critical role in the company and therefore only suitable for someone who is serious about developing their career.

Job Purpose
To provide first line administration and account support to equine customers, which include private horse owners, yards and vet surgeries.

Responsibilities

- Plan and prioritise admin and accounts activities towards achieving agreed business aims. Managing personal time and productivity.
- Manage, co ordinate and carry out customer accounts and administration tasks to ensure the efficient running of customer accounts
- Manage activities that support client renewals on an ongoing basis and track clients through ACT software task lists.
- Support the maintenance and development of existing and new customers through efficient and effective customer service, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
- Carry out support marketing activities for their organized marketing activities, e.g., launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- Record, analyse, report and administer according to their systems and requirements.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Other duties as agreed with line manager which are appropriate with this position.

Person Specification

- Educated to at least GCSE level standard but preferably with further education qualifications.
- An interest in horses is essential.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment with good telephone communication skills.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise and work unsupervised using own initiative.
- Able to work competently with word and excel preferably with office 2007
- Experience in using ACT by Sage and Sage 50 Accounts would be advantageous.
- Energetic, highly motivated, and committed to successfully supporting the equine business
