- Key elements of the role include coordinating all aspects of shipments from their supply chain in the Far East
- Working closely with their nominated freight forwarders to ensure timely, cost effective shipment and accurate document submission.
- You must demonstrate an extremely high level of accuracy and strong administration skills in order to check and process supplier payments and maintain excel spreadsheet schedules
- Experience along with a working knowledge of importing from the far east / UK customs clearance processes will be an advantage but not essential.
- You will also be working closely with the sales and marketing team providing on time shipment information on a regular basis
- A knowledge of SAGE 50 is required for raising purchase orders, stock data input and reporting. You will be expected to maintain a professional, sales orientated approach with a can do attitude at all times. In addition to your supply chain responsibilities , you will required to assist the managing director with a wide variety of day to day commercial tasks working and dealing with other 3rd party suppliers / contractors and service partners to the business. You must be organised, loyal and conscientious.
