Key Responsibilities: Assisting with quality control of client and regulatory reporting, including a significant amount of checking work. Preparation of monthly and weekly client reporting Co-ordination of information flow between relevant business areas to ensure reports allocated are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensuring that accurate reporting records and databases are maintained in accordance with the correct procedures. Maintain strong working relationships with the business teams, the Investment Teams and all external and internal clients as appropriate and responding to queries in a timely manner. Ensuring that procedures are correctly followed, highlight amendments and provide training for new starters and existing staff following any changes. Ensuring that that complaints, breaches and incidents are recorded and reported in a timely manner. Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for Job: Ideally a minimum of 4-5 years' experience within a major Fund Manager / Investment Manager or Asset Management firm in a relevant client reporting and administration role. Exposure to dealing with either Institutional and/or Retail clients is highly desirable. A demonstrable track record dealing with external clients and building meaningful relationships with external contacts is Any experience giving training and company presentations is highly desirable Excellent overall investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment strategies A strong understanding of client reporting systems and processes is essential An appreciation of Regulatory reporting requirements Advanced Excel skills Strong academic background - ideally educated to degree level Other Personal Attributes Required Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to complete tasks within required deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Ability to build strong working relationships with internal stake-holders Knowledge of financial services and investment management concepts. Ability to use initiative and engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present detailed analysis in clear and concise reports High degree of numeracy and strong Excel skills.
