Here at Allarton in Glasgow, we support provide 24 hour support for 12 adults who have severe and enduring mental health issues. For us, providing the best quality of care is hugely rewarding and our goal is to ensure that every one of our residents enjoys a more positive and independent lifestyle.

Sometimes it’s the little things that count.  Such as encouragement to keep their home tidy, or going with them to the shops on a Wednesday, or the cinema on Thursday, helping them to attend a college course, or to arrange a social night with friends.  It can be pretty challenging at times but working as part of our 24 hour support team, your support will definitely make the difference.

What do you need?  No direct experience is required.  It’s more a positive approach and a genuine interest in helping others in a practical way. A qualification in Social Care would be ideal but it’s not essential as we’ll support you to gain it. In fact, we’ll make sure that you have all the training and development you need, not only so you can do a great job, but to help you build your career with us too.
