The Role:
As the Warehouse Manager, you’ll oversee our client’s warehouse activities from the goods inwards phase.
In this varied role, you’ll optimise the storage within two warehouses, as well as an extensive external yard area. You’ll implement a sustainable and efficient picking process to ensure that products are swiftly dispatched to customers.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead and motivate your team
- Train and develop all Warehouse personnel
- Make sure that employees follow H&S procedures
- Ensure that resources are managed and available as needed
- Provide the highest levels of customer service at the optimum cost to the business
- Investigate any service or operational failures
About You:
Think you’d fit in with this dedicated team? To become the Warehouse Manager, you’ll need:
- Previous warehousing and distribution operations management experience
- Proven management skills with the ability to motivate and develop your team
- The ability to control a budget
- Excellent communication skills
- Great prioritisation abilities and a highly organised approach
A valid FLT reach licence would be an advantage, but this is by no means essential.
