Business Analyst, Distribution Technology - London

As a Business Analyst in our Distribution Technology department you will join our fast paced, ever changing Distribution technology team and play a huge part in supporting the growth and development of the Global Distribution and fulfilment programme at ASOS. You'll be part of the team responsible for transforming our global fulfilment operations, enabling efficient solutions so our goods get to our customers in the fastest time possible.

You'll be based at our amazing offices in Camden, although travel may be required on occasions and you will be part of a dedicated business analyst team for Distribution Technology. You will be supported as you continually develop your career through the delivery of business requirements across entire project lifecycles, playing a key role from initial conception through to launch.

What you'll be doing:
Document and analyse the needs of the business, underpinned by a robust understanding of the current business situation Elicit, validate and manage business requirements - both functional and non-functional Challenge the business assumptions so that the delivered solutions meet both their current and future needs Model the to-be processes and support the Change Management team in identifying and understanding the scope and impact of change Collaborate with internal and external Development teams to help shape the people, processes and systems that will allow ASOS to achieve its strategic goals Work with the Project Managers to plan analysis work and highlight risks and issues Support the testing phases of the project and facilitate user acceptance testing Be part of a project team collaborating across a critical transformation programme, ensuring that deliverable are aligned to valid, verified, prioritised requirements, underpinned by robust, logical, maintainable processes



Who we'd like:

We're looking for a tenacious, talented Business Analyst with some experience in Logistics, Warehousing and Carrier Management systems who wants to be involved in growing our fast paced Distribution and Fulfilment capabilities and is able to work on multiple things at once! An understanding of Buying and Merchandising would be beneficial but is not essential. You'll also have:

Demonstrable experience of working in a business analysis role, preferably with some retail experience and understanding Confidence in managing stakeholders at all levels
