Excellent opportunity for an engineer that has experience working on plant equipment to join a company that will offer you a varied and challenging role where you can increase your earning through overtime.
Based in Buckingham this company specialise in the service and repair of cranes that are supplied into the MOD.
In this role you will provide workshop based service support for all mobile crane products in the UK but with particular emphasis on the refurbishment of model type 307M cranes for the British MOD. The 307M cranes are re-fitted onto Warrior Fighting Vehicles.
The ideal candidate will come from a heavy background and have good hydraulics maintenance and servicing skills. Candidates from the forces, heavy plant, crane, forklift, diggers, dumper or excavator background are encouraged to apply.
This is a great role for someone to join a company where you will work in a small team of skilled individuals and play a major part in this companies growth and development.
The role:
*Site based role.
*Working on MOD Coles cranes.
*Service and maintenance.
*Assembly and refurbishment.
*Mechanical and electrical.
The person:
*Have a strong mechanical fault finding and maintenance background.
*Experience with hydraulics.
*Safe working knowledge of single phase and three phase electrics.
*Have experience of welding would be an advantage.
*ideally come from a heavy engineering background such as Cranes, Forklift, plant, HGV.
