Job- Software Engineer
Location - Harlow
Summary of Role:
Main Duties:
Support to development of new MSSR Software products for next generation of products plus support of software used in existing fielded product. Role will involve development of new functionality (design, code, test).
Candidate Requirement:
. The following represents a list of capabilities required to support the existing ATMS products.
. Experience of development for Real Time, Multi-Tasking, Embedded Systems.
. Involved at all stages of the development and post delivery lifecycle (requirements capture, design (high and low level, implementation, test (unit, software integration, system integration).
. Ability to work in small multidiscipline teams involving Software, Hardware and Systems engineers (with minimal supervision).
. Familiarity with design methods suitable for real time, multi-tasking systems (MASCOT preferred but not essential).
. Debug / testing on target system (board level interface).
. Appreciation of target hardware operation
. High Level language (C preferred)
. Experience of Configuration Management / Version Control tools (Intasoft AllChange preferred).
. Experience of Requirement Management tools (DOORS preferred).
. Experience of communications systems (e.g. Ethernet protocols).
. Understanding of Secondary Surveillance Radar principals of operation (preferable, but not essential).
. SC Clearance
