Product Design & Quality Engineer

Are you a Product Quality Engineer with CAD skills looking for varied work, superb training and development plus the opportunity to work on new product development on highly automated product facilities?
Our client can offer investors in people training, superb office facilities and ambitious growth plans. They have very low staff turnover, meaning that opportunities to join this client are rare indeed.
You will co-ordinate the development of new and existing products acting as the link to support suppliers and the internal buying team.
Therefore your duties will include:
1.Prepare Engineering drawings, product testing, sample approval, QA, packaging specifications and manufacturing support
2.Preparation of Inspection instruction sheets including master production samples of all relevant products.
3.Proving technical assistance to sales staff and customers
To apply you should have:
1.Either a time served Mechanical Engineer or a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a minimum of one year's post graduate experience.
2.Design experience using Solidworks or AutoCAD.
3.Working knowledge of production processes including casting, plastic moulding, machining, presswork & finishing processes
This is a permanent role paying GBP28-35K, plus pension and parking. Hours of work are 8.30-5PM, Monday to Friday
