Immediate New Vacancy: CNC Turner working 6-2 2-10 - Aerospace and Precision Engineering
We now require a skilled CNC Turner to join the Machining department in this leading precision engineering company, working in first class manufacturing facilities with the latest equipment and procedures.
This is a great opportunity to work for large, well structured business who have sustained year on year growth becoming a leading supplier into there core markets of Aerospace and Precision Engineering.
Shift: Mon-Fri 6-2 and 2-10 rotating weekly with early finish on a Friday
Pay: GBP12.50-GBP14.50 per hour + overtime = earnings of GBP35,000 and upwards
Overtime rates: Mon-Sat time ?? and Sundays Double time
Commutable From: Alfreton, Mansfield, Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield, South Sheffield
Background required: Must have previous CNC Turning/Lathe experience within a precision engineering environment.
The ideal CNC Turner/Machinist will possess as many of the following as possible in order to strengthen the application:
- Time Served Apprenticeship
- Competent to run multiple machines - Highly beneficial if the candidate can operate a number of machines in this machine shop precision engineering environment.
- Competent to set and operate
- Basic online editing skills
- Manual machining skills highly beneficial
- The desire to progress and use a range of other CNC operated machinery
