Electronics Engineer
The Client:
A world leader in high quality test solutions.
The Role:
Design of electronic hardware for all products. The Electronic Design Engineer will be required to research new technologies that can be applied to the product range.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Skills Requirements
+ Ability to balance commercial and technical requirements.
+ Customer-centric approach
+ Design for Manufacture
+ Multilayer pcb layout.
+ Proven analytical and problem solving
+ Production of concise and accurate documentation
Desired:
+ AC motor control
+ Stepper motor control
+ Precision metrology
+ Strain gauge/Load cell interface
+ Temperature sensors
+ ARM microcontrollers
+ Design and specification of DC PSUs (up to 1kW)
Key Experience
+ 5 years' experience designing hardware in a manufacturing environment.
+ Good knowledge of Electronic and Microprocessor design.
+ Analogue and digital Sensor interface
+ Electronic Control of Single and 3 phase DC motor systems
+ PCB Design and layout
+ CE certification / EMC / LVD
