**Governance, Control Analyst and Audit Specialist - 8 months Contract - GBP24.55ph Ltd/Umbrella - Leading Defence Organisation - Glasgow**
Our client is leading Defence organisation based in Glasgow who are looking for an Interim Supply Chain (Governance & Audit) professional () to join their team on a 8 months contract.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for creating and issuing Reports, in line with the Financial Control Framework, conducting Audits and providing Reports with recommendations. Accountable for Goods Received not Invoiced reviews and reporting, reviewing delegation of authority levels and providing recommendations and accelerate suppliers to ensure delivery of required Supplier Questionnaires and Certification documentation. Responsible for the Spend Exception process (including reporting) and the Breach Management Process (including reporting).
Experience required for this role:
Previous experience working as an Auditor, Governance and/or Controls Analyst or equivalent
Ideally have experience working within a Defence, Engineering or Manufacturing environment
Experience of Governance Principals in Supply Chain and Supplier Compliance processes
Ideally have Process Audit experience
Understanding of Purchase Order process
Experience of creating and producing reports
Strong Stakeholder management skills
Exceptional communication skills - ability to liaise with clientele and personnel at all levels
Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience - Excel and PowerPoint
