Due to internal promotions, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join Experian's Go To Market division within the National Sales community.

The role is to promote Experian's capabilities to new decision makers from both prospective and existing customers. You will be partnered with two field based Business Development Managers and share responsibility for driving financial growth through new business generation.

Working collaboratively with the Business Development Managers, you will identify prospective customers, introduce Experian and our products and services, with the goal of scheduling a meeting for your field counterpart to attend.

This is a fantastic role that is an ideal step for someone who is looking to move into, or progress within, B2B sales, and has aspirations to build a career within a FTSE 50 business.

Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities from the new customer prospect poolIdentify new decision makers within existing accountsUnderstand and be able to articulate propositions to fit prospective customers' requirements in a compelling mannerInfluence prospective customers' decision making process to include ExperianPersuade prospective customers to meet with our field Business Development ManagersContribute to the joint achievement of the shared new business revenue target by securing face time with high quality prospective customersDevelop and maintain the sales prospect databaseManage the CRM database for opportunities identifiedDevelop a "prospecting plan" that provides structure and direction to support your objectivesAttend and constructively contribute to monthly team meetingsWork collaboratively with the field Business Development ManagersLiaise with the Product and Propositions team to provide customer requirement and competitor insight


Requirements

Essential:
Previous outbound telesales experience (preferably B2B)Good telephone manner; aptitude to build good solid relationshipsGreat questioning skills; good ability to problem solveHardworking, tenacious and eager to get things done efficientlyDemonstrates a well organised and disciplined approach to workAble to adapt to a fast paced environmentTeam playerStrive to delivery excellent customer service Educated to degree standard, or equivalent
