Cringle Brook Primary School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant, for Key stage 2.

The role will involve supporting groups of children in class and out of class, with a strong emphasis on improving reading, writing and mathematics skills.  Candidates will need excellent literacy and numeracy skills and an assessment of these will form part of the recruitment process.

The successful candidate will have recent and relevant experience of working with children, supporting learning, in a school setting.  They will also be highly motivated, dynamic, have strong team work skills and a ‘can do’ approach to their work. They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual and will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential.

Salary - £16,187 pro rata equates to apx £9,317 per annum

23.5 hours a week,

Monday 8.30 – 12.30pm

Tuesday to 8.30 – 12.30pm

Wednesday 8.30 – 12.30, then 1.10 – 4.40pm

Thursday 8.30 – 12.30pm

Friday to 8.30 – 12.30pm
