Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are exclusively recruiting a Senior Financial Controller for a well established medium sized manufacturing business based in West Dorset. The business is part of a larger manufacturing group with a head office based in Europe. It has undergone some significant change in recent times but is now at an exciting time, poised for investment and growth.
Reporting to the Managing Director and the head office Finance Director, you would have responsibility for leading, motivating and developing a small team, preparing monthly management accounts, providing KPI data and insights into areas for improvement, (with particular focus on Manufacturing Yields, Output and Labour control amongst the usual Business KPI's), managing the financial compliance aspects and take a lead role in target setting, maintaining the company's standard costing system and overall management of performance to deliver business objectives.
You will ideally need to be degree educated with a full CCAB qualification, a minimum of 5 years financial management experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment and be able to manage and develop a small team. In return a good working environment is offered, bonus of up to 15%, private health and pension. Salary is dependent on experience.
