Our client is a leading mental health provider in Bristol, North Somerset, B&NES and South Gloucestershire. Their aim is to deliver recovery and wellbeing opportunities for adults with mental health and other support needs to achieve their hopes and ambitions.

Wellbeing College Peer Tutor

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Permanent post

Salary: £25292 - £26978 per annum, pro rata

Location: Bristol

They offer free courses for people who use mental health services, their carers, staff and volunteers in a variety of community venues across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The courses have been designed and created by people who have experience of mental ill health and/or by mental health professionals. They are committed to working in partnership with a variety of agencies across the Bristol area.

They are keen to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic tutor with lived experience as well as appropriate training experience and qualifications. You will be responsible for delivering a range of Health, Wellbeing and Recovery courses within the Bristol Wellbeing College, across a number of geographical areas throughout the region. The role also involves assisting with the development and review of courses and to assist with College marketing activities. This is an exciting project and they are seeking an excellent communicator who is flexible in their approach and responsive to the needs of the people that we work with.
