They are currently recruiting to the following position:

Estates Officers

up to £18,350 p.a.

They are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Estates Officers, who take pride in their work, to join their Estates, Health and Safety Team at this large College in Ewell.

As a key member of our Estates Team, you will undertake a range of caretaking and general maintenance and repairs works. You will be a strong team player, but equally comfortable working alone and using your own initiative.

With a proactive and flexible approach, you will have good DIY/general maintenance skills, a good attention to detail, be methodical in your approach, and be able to quickly assess tasks and situations and take the appropriate action in a calm and professional manner.

You will have a good understanding of health and safety, providing a customer focussed service with a commitment to ensuring safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners, in order to provide a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors.

Experience of working in a similar environment or with young people is preferred.

There are three roles we are looking to fill.

  • Estates Officer (Early Morning) 0445 hrs - 1300 hrs(M-Th) 0445 hrs - 1245 hrs (Fri)
  • Estates Officer 0445 hrs - 1300 hrs 4 days a week (actual days by agreement) plus Saturday 1030 hrs -1730 hrs
  • Estates Officer (Lates) 1400hrs - 2230 hrs (M-Th) 1400 hrs - 2100 hrs (Fri)

All Estates Officers are required to work as part of a Saturday rota, (frequency approximately 1 in 7) between 0630-1330 hrs for which a day off is given in the week. Saturday afternoon working is also required, 1330 -1730 hrs for which overtime is paid. Occasional Sunday work may be required again for which overtime is paid.
