Laboratory Technician - Liverpool - GBP18,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician to join a Global Pharmaceutical company based just outside Liverpool centre.

Job Purpose:
Analysis of customer samples for bacterial endotoxin and glucan concentration within the Contract Test Laboratory. QC analysis and certification of ancillary products prior to sale.
General Responsibilities Include:
* Co-ordinate with the Laboratory Supervisor to ensure the correct booking in, storage, handling and disposal of customer samples.
* Perform the analysis of customer samples for bacterial endotoxin and glucan concentration.
* Produce documents for QC testing including the generation of certificates.
* Maintain calibration of instrumentation and equipment used in the CTS.
* Maintain all CTS documentation for customer and internal audit and review.
* Maintain ISO 9001 standards within CTS and satisfy internal ISO audit requirements.
* In the absence of the Laboratory Supervisor, provide customer quotations for analysis, report customer and sample results.
* Requirement to work to GMP
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
* Knowledge of the bacterial endotoxin assay highly beneficial
* Computer experience in Microsoft Office.
* Concise and accurate record keeping.
* GMP experience.
* Education to GCSE in Science and Mathematics or equivalent level qualification.
* Higher education Science qualification preferable.
* General laboratory experience essential including use of pipettes
Package:
Salary GBP18,000 per annum
8.45am - 5pm Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours a week.
