A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fork Lift Truck Driver to join a family-run waste paper and recycling company with over 25 years’ experience in the trade.
Salary: £8 per hour
Hours: 6-month trial period with a view to becoming full time. Monday to Friday 06.15 – 17.30 and Saturday 06.30 – 11.30
The role
Reporting to the Foreperson, the Forklift Truck Driver / Labourer will be responsible for the following:
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks
What you’ll need
• Experienced F.L.T driver required,
• must be physically fit as a lot of manual lifting is involved
• Must be reliable and trustworthy and happy to be a major team player and general all rounder
• A valid FLT RTITB license/certificate to operate trucks (Reach and Counterbalance)
• Experience in picking, packing or despatch
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to organise and prioritise workload
Suitable skills/experience: Forklift Truck Driver, Plastic Recycling, Environment, Logistics, HGV Driver, Transport, Class 2, Cat C, Reach, Counterbalance, FLT
