Progress Housing Group owns and manages nearly 11,000 homes and has been delivering housing related services to communities for over 20 years. Operating mainly in Lancashire but offering supported living services nationwide as well as delivering key worker accommodation in Lincolnshire, the Group employs c500 people
Following recent reorganisation, the People Services Team, which is a part of the HR & OD function, has an opportunity for a Job Share where the successful candidate will partner with a current People Services Advisor sharing responsibilities, tasks and duties that you have been allocated. The role will initially be on a fixed term basis for 6 months with the potential for this to become a permanent arrangement.
You will be advising and coaching managers and employees on the end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment and selection, induction, absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, terms and conditions, policy interpretation and performance management where you will have a caseload which you and your job share partner will be equally responsible for,
As part of the team's development and on-going continuous improvement, you will proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate service delivery and increase self-service functionality.
To be successful, you will be part CIPD qualified or equivalent with good working knowledge of employment law gained working in an advisory role within a payroll / HR team. As importantly, your collaborative style of working and ability to resolve issues on your own initiative will enable you to quickly establish credibility and influence.
A Job Share essentially remains a full time function undertaken by two people where the hours equivalents to a full time post (36.25) are shared. Working days and hours to be discussed at interview
