Are you an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant looking to work in a great environment with students who need your help? Do you have experience working with students with PMLD and SLD? If so then this is the opportunity for you

Our clients are looking for an experienced SEN LSA, ideally with previous SLD experience. You should have experience of working with a range of special needs difficulties and have the interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with staff and students. The position will be to work with students across all Key Stages as you may potentially be moved around the school.

An NVQ Level 2 qualification would be advantageous but is not essential if you have the right attitude and experience.

This is initially a long term temporary role to start in September, although there may be an opportunity to start earlier if you are available. There is also the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

This is a great chance to work in a School with a real family feel to it and to be a part of a community who are making a real difference to the lives of their students. They have recently converted an unused field into an Orchard and Memorial garden, with plans to develop the area further.

Having visited this school, on numerous occasions, I have always found them to be warm and welcoming and you only have to see the Head Teacher interacting with the pupils so see the passion they have for improving their lives.

Our client is an all-age special school for children and young people aged 3-19 with severe and profound learning difficulties. Their aim is to provide a first class education whilst also meeting the student?s personal, social and emotional needs. Ofsted rate them as a Good School.

Please send your CV to Greg Burns. Greg is our dedicated SEN Consultant and will be happy to guide you through each step of the process from your application, right up to supporting you throughout your time at the School.
