Quality Systems Engineer
Location: Dover

Are you a quality engineer with experience of maintaining company's Quality and Environmental Management Systems?
Do you have experience with quality matters relating to New Product Development projects?
Do you have a high level of understanding regarding the ISO standards within a manufacturing facility?

We are currently seeking a talented Quality Systems Engineer to work at the group HQ of a well established organisation who design and produce test and measurement instrumentation all over the world, and have been doing so for over 100 years!
The quality systems engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's QMS and EMS are maintained to support the current and future business strategies and meet relevant international standards. The role will require the individual to proactively identify, record and action quality related matters as part of New Product Development projects.
The successful candidate should have all of, if not most of the following skills/experience:
- Degree/BTEC/HND in an Engineering related discipline - experience may be taken in lieu of qualification.
- Associated membership of the Institute of Quality Engineering is preferred
- ISO 9001:2004 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
- Performing quality activities and training of staff in all aspects of QMS and EMS.
- Management of quality planning in New Product Development projects
- Experience in facilitating 8D root cause analysis
- Exemplary understanding of ISO standards and ability to develop and/or maintain ISO accreditation in a manufacturing facility
- Ability to develop excellent working relationships with all levels of the organisation in order to through quality problems and ensure actions are identified and carried out to agreed targets.
