The Position

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to come and assist with the management of the team in the Green Room restaurant. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant ensuring all staff provide our guests with a 5 star service. In this role you will be responsible for mentoring, managing, training, and the development of the Green Room staff.

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the Green Room restaurant
• Ensure a prompt resolution of customer complaints and that these are dealt with in the correct way
• To take full responsibility of the department in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager
• Full understanding and knowledge of all menus, drinks and wines served in the Green Room
• Ensure the staff are trained to the high standards required
• Assist in the ordering, purchasing and stock taking of the restaurant products when required

The Ideal Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• High standard of personal presentation and hygiene at all times
• The ability to build relationships with the guests and staff
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
