The Overview:
We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Service Technician (Boilers / Steam) to be based around South Wales. The Multi Skilled Service Technician (Boilers / Steam) represents an excellent opportunity to come into a world leading, multi billion pound organisation with excellent training, career development and excellent financial rewards.
This role is field based and worked a 1 in 4 call out rota. Salary will start at GBP29k but rise to GBP32k after your probation is complete with overtime very much increasing this figure.
The Role:
For the Multi Skilled Service Technician (Boilers / Steam) you will be based around South Wales carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance around different facilities, a lot based around boiler, steam boiler and utilities plants. This is a role where you will not be staying away and home every night.
* Carry out maintenance on Boiler and Utilities plant equipment
* Routine Steam Boiler operational tasks to comply company policies
* Carry out Electrical PPM maintenance activities
* Ability to carry out fault diagnosis on Electrical LV control and power circuits
* Ensuring compliance with the company's health and safety, quality and environmental policies
The Person:
For the Multi Skilled Service Technician (Boilers / Steam) you will have both electrical and mechanical experience and worked around boilers and utilities plant equipment before.
* Diagnose and offer effective countermeasures for critical plant breakdowns to maintain essential services to our customers
* Mechanical / Electrical, multi-skilled experience
* Safety focussed with experience in preparation of Risk Assessments and Permit To Work
* Knowledge of steam raising plant beneficial
* Experience around Dual Fuel Burners, combustion control maintenance and testing beneficial
