Caring Services Assistant (West Midlands)
Location: Home-based within West Midlands
12 Month Contract | Full time
Salary: c. £24k pa

The successful candidate will assist the Caring and Health Services Manager in developing the Charity’s offer for current and former civil servants. You will be producing our carers’ tools in line with the Charity’s policies and procedures.

As a part of this role you will be required to:

  • Assist with work on refining and evaluating our carers’ tools;
  • Produce our carers’ tools to serving Civil Servants in line with the Charity’s Policy and Procedures;
  • Deliver clear, consistent and detailed advice and guidance relating to carers and physical/mental health conditions;
  • Collate and maintain information on services and organisations relevant to caring and health;
  • Support people to access other services available through the Charity.

We are looking for someone with excellent IT and administrative skills, knowledge relating to carers’ rights and issues carers face, and an understanding of the health and social care system across the UK. You will also have experience in the delivery of support, advice and guidance in the area of individual wellbeing.

As this role is home-based, you will also need a proven capability in self-management/managing your own workload.
