Tax Assistant / Senior (part time with flexible / child-friendly hours) Lichfield, near Walsall £30k- £40k p.a. (pro rata)

Part time role in small rural chartered accountancy practice near Lichfield (Child-friendly hours by arrangement)

The Role

As Tax Assistant / Senior, you will deal with clients on day to day issues with specific duties including:

• compliance / planning work in both corporate and personal tax
• preparing self-assessment tax returns for individuals / partnerships
• collating source information from clients
• registering clients for self-assessment / VAT
• work on payroll and PAYE / IHT / CGT

There would also be the opportunity if desired to develop your skills and experience with varied work including tax planning with the support of the Director and senior tax consultant.

Our client is a small rural Chartered Accountancy practice based near Lichfield with over 16 years' experience advising mainly the farming industry and also other types of businesses including start-ups and small and medium sized companies. They pride themselves on providing a fast, efficient and friendly service. They are a small friendly team offering a pleasant working environment with good update training and CPD provided.

The Person

As a Tax Assistant / Senior, you will have some previous relevant tax experience in a similar role and/ or may be (part-) qualified ( ATT / ACA / CTA ) or qualified by experience.

This role is part time and hours / days worked can be adjusted to suit your requirements. Salary shown is full time equivalent. Your pay will be adjusted to reflect the hours agreed.
