We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Learning Opportunities to work in our Learning Opportunities, Learning Support HCL Department. As a professional Lecturer you will be required to undertake formal scheduled teaching duties, these include teaching, tutorials and student assessment. You will lead on the use of technologies to assist the learning and support needs of the student. 

The successful candidate will need to hold a Degree and/or a teaching qualification, and if not held, you will be required to attain a teaching qualification within 3 years, have subject specialist qualification in Special Educational Needs and evidence of continued, relevant professional and personal development. We are looking for someone who has experience of teaching/training in Foundation Level programmes, working with students who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities and current use of technology to support access to learning for students with a learning difficulty and/or disability, have relevant subject knowledge and good organisational & communication skills,
