Stores Co-ordinator - 4-6 Week Minimum Contract - Realistically 3-6 month Contract - Immediate Start - GBP12-GBP14p/h Umbrella / GBP11.50 PAYE / Based in North Derbyshire
Working in an Engineering Company / Supervising 2 Stores Operatives (Prioritising Workload / Support & Direction - not full man management) / Goods in & Goods Out
This Derbyshire based company design and manufacture large bespoke equipment for a variety of companies including Rolls Royce, Siemens and Shell. They have been market leaders in their field for over a century and employ nearly 200 people. As part of a focussed sales drive to develop a presence in new markets they have won two large projects and are looking to recruit a stores co-ordinator to orchestrate the flow of goods in, the supply to the shop floor and the goods out of all materials to ensure the units are produced effectively.
What the Role will Involve:

Receiving all goods in from suppliers and cross referencing against delivery notes.
*
Putting away the parts / components in the correct place in the stores.
*
Getting a BOM from the design / production guys and picking the parts required to manufacture the units.
*
Supervising two stores operatives - prioritising workload, helping with queries, checking that process has been followed etc.
*
Uploading information on to the IT system.
*
Getting involved in stock taking and counting of parts and components.
*
Liaising with other departments and managers to deal with any issues.
What are we looking for in the Candidate:
*
Stores supervision experience.
*
Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing company.
*
IT literate.
*
Ideally an FLT license, although this isn't essential.
